Polymerization process in which chain wrought takes place without transfer or ending reactions allowing control over the polymer architecture

CID has been working during the last 6 years in the development of new copolymers using CRP technology.

CRP technology allows our researchers to have control over the composition, topology, and functionality of copolymers, facilitating a tailor made design of molecules with specific properties (compatibilizers, additives, composites, etc.)

CID has established collaboration agreements with private industries specialized in producing controlling agents and with researchers at universities, which are developing new molecules, in order to have a variety of controlling agents that can be applied to different monomers.

Approximately 20% of the projects developed at CID involve CRP technology.
